Writer and cartoonist, Rod Hannah is one part of a husband and wife creator team with Leanne Hannah. His projects include the comic Once Upon a Caper, Mice Templar, and popular Star Wars parody webcomic Blue Milk Special. Together with Leanne he is working on his first children's storybook "Hickory Hippo".
Since 2009, Rod has been battling with arthritis of the cervical spine and undergone multiple surgeries for disc herniation and tears including cervical fusion. The ongoing chronic pain has impacted the nerves down his arms and back and can at times be debilitating, preventing normal function, work and social activity. Rod is currently undergoing radio frequency ablation to switch off the nerve pain information to the brain which will give up to a year of relief.
