Emergency Rent Help

A tough year just got even tougher. After loosing my sister Suzanne and doing everything within my power to save some of her most personal items, donate, sell and give away the rest and feel a sense of peace after being so deeply enmeshed in her belongings, I found out today I may not have a place to live, along with my dear friend and roommate Joan. When I moved in with her and her husband Leslie it was a Godsend and Joan and I have been through quite a lot together this last year or two and have been happy to have each other in times of need. Joan's husband Leslie now lives in a nursing care facility and increasing costs allowed them to petition and receive all of Leslie's retirement, which a portion of has been helping Joan to cover the rent at our house. We have been getting by and working towards getting back to a strong and abundant life again and this unexpected news has really caused turmoil with bounced checks, all kinds of additional charges and may cause us to be evicted if we can't make good on this with our landlord.

If there is one thing I have learned from my spiritual community it would have to be, "when you need help, ask!". My time working for our church helped me appreciate the goodness in people, there is no shame in asking for help, it feels good to help others and we all can make a difference and there is power in numbers!

I am asking for your help for Joan and Myself, I could not think to ask any one person for such a sum and so I am asking a whole bunch of compassionate beautiful individuals to help Joan and I to make it through this rough and threatening time.
