Hi I’m Esther Mendoza and I am creating this fundraiser for my husband who is battling Stage 4 stomach cancer. The cancer has spread to his liver and his abdominal lining. He’s had two major surgeries in Los Angeles and stood there for treatment 43 days! We came home on December 13th because we were told there was no more cancer in his stomach and he was clear. 10 days later we end up in the ER because of dehydration and the Dr there decided to order a CT scan just to make sure everything was okay, given his history. The scan came back with lesions all over his liver and one 4.5 cm tumor and one 3 cm tumor. I must say it was a blow to the gut! He went back for a PET scan on Saturday and they told us there is nothing more that they can do for him If you know me, you know I’m going to fight and continue to find a cure for him! I’m not letting him give up! He is a very prideful person and never lets anyone know what is happening with him and never asks anyone for a dime. At this point, I’m asking for him because being his wife, I want him to be happy and I want him to fulfill some things he’s always wanted to do but unfortunately can’t because of finances. He told me he wants to have a nice fancy dinner on a yacht.We also have a travel trailer we used to pull out 4 times a year in Pismo that is rusting away because he has been very sick all year. I’ve wanted to take him there and haven’t been able to. I’m asking because the Bible says ask and you shall receive Matthew 7:7.
