Many of you already know what my sister and her family are going through, but if your not aware, their 18 month old Austin, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor at 10 months old. This little sweetie has my heart. ❤️He has endured way more then any 18 month should have to and has a long road ahead. Jen and Travis have seeked out treatment at St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hosptial in Memphis Tennessee. There is a wonderful doctor there who specializes in craniopharngiomas. 2 out of every million people have a craniopharngioma. This is a life long process. Where the tumor is located, it’s attached to areas of the brain that are very important in the way the body works. The plan for Austin is to be down at St. Jude’s for 7-8 weeks. He will have proton radiation 5 days a week for a long 6 weeks. Prior to starting, he will have a port placed, another MRI, more blood work and appointments. Like someone said, “Brain tumors don’t care about bills! “ If we could all help Jen and Trav and there special family of 6 with providing additional help with all that they will endure on this long journey. They have 4 kids, Tyler, Caden, Ava, and then Austin. This is so hard for them to be away from them and there home, there jobs, and family. If we could help take the stress off of the “money part” that would be truly amazing! They deserve so much and we have had so many wonderful people in our lives that genuinely want to help them with whatever they may need! Let’s show Jen and Trav that we are here for them!! We are here to support them and there needs as life goes on even when there life feels like it’s standing still. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! This special boy has changed many lives already and he will continue to do so. We are all AUSTINS ARMY!
