Help Fund Chance's Large Surgery Bills

BY CHANCE::Can you please help me? My name happens to be Chance; after 10 long days I was rescued from Chicago Animal Care & Control, I don't know how I got there but I had to have had help because I had couldn't walk. I might have been hit by a car or something; my recollection of the incident is poor.
I don't think I did anything wrong, I just know that I was hours from being euthanized because nobody wanted me. That was until the nice ladies of A Caring Place Dog Rescue in Westmont said they would take me in. They brought a large car and had me carried out to it; then we went to an emergency veterinary clinic where they tried to fix my hip manually but I had to have surgery. I was then taken to a loving foster home where I am getting the care I need. I understand I will be here for a while, which is ok because it sure beats living in a metal cell.
I can't tell you much about my past, but I can assure you the future is going to be great! My vet bills are already huge, but apparently these ladies think I'm worth it. I'm showing my appreciation by wagging my tail and behaving as best as I know how.
