For the Love of Walter

Hello y’all. I am Walter’s best friend, the recipient of his unconditional love, and his human mama. Over the holidays, it became more and more evident that Walter is very, very sick. We are visiting my mother in Alabama, and Walter has been seeing a vet clinic here in her city of Montgomery. The first round of treatments was 1,500.00, which my mother insisting on covering; then he had to return again to the vet yesterday, ended up undergoing exploratory surgery and biopsies, and does not seem to be bouncing back much at all. Another 1,300.00 of vet expenses has been accrued, making the total just under $3,000.00 thus far. I am a self employed jewelry artist, and do not want my mother to shoulder this huge expense (yet she will be aghast when she realizes that I have decided to ask for donations to pay part of the $ back asap). If any of you could donate a dollar or two, we would ALL be eternally grateful!!! His biopsy results will be in by the end of next week, and i hope that walter and i can return soon to the cabin at Heartrock Hill. I love this four legged shadow with all of my heart, and would never forgive myself if i decided against treatment due to high mounting costs. This is extremely humbling, way beyond humbling actually, and I am sure that there are those who will frown upon the notion of raising money for a dog’s health bills. But Walter isn’t just a dog: he is my dearest friend, and i consider him a cherished family member.Thanks for taking the time to read these words.
