Help Pam Pryor and Dave Henderson

Donation protected
Winter storm Grayson has severely damaged Pam Pryor and Dave Henderson’s home in Barnstable village. The fast moving and unusual high tide rushed into their home so quickly there was nothing they could do to save most of their stuff. Just a few days later, the water made it out but their floors are buckling, walls will need to be completely rebuilt, and their appliances will not last long. Dave, an avid hunter, had their meat stored in a freezer that is meant to last them all year long. With this cold snap, they will be able to store the broken freezer outside to keep it frozen, but the minute the temperature goes up, they risk losing quite a lot of food. Their regular fridge and other appliances won’t last long either because of the damaging nature of salt water. While they do have flood insurance, as well as homeowners insurance, it takes quite a while for a claim to process and it will be struggle for them to survive until it comes. The winter is not the best time of year for a builder to make his money, and now with the work that needs to be done on his own home, Dave will be out of work, trying to get his house back to normal to survive the rest of the winter. Please help Pam and Dave get their lives back to normal quickly so they are not stuck living in a cold construction zone all winter!
