Help Me Make Art In Finland ❤️❤️

Hi friends! I feel so lucky to have been chosen as an future artist-in-residence at the Arteles Creative Residency Program for one month in July 2018. The premise of this particular residency is that it gives an artist a whole month out in the Finnish countryside to devote fully to art. Studios are accessible 24 hours a day. The artist is invited to take time to think about projects and implement them in their own particular approach. Many of you have heard me complain about the lack of time I have to devote to my studio and my practice in “normal” life, in which jobs and obligations—or even fun—carve away at the free time to get things done. The idea that I’ve been granted a month to focus on my practice in a foreign land that will also invite me to notice things anew is an honor to me.
