MY BROTHER'S KEEPER

ANDREW PRENDERGAST

Have you ever met a person that you knew was just too good for this world?  The type of person that just does not fit into a category and you can't quite figure them out.   Someone who dances to a beat of their own, dictates their own sense of time, and appreciates the little things that life has to offer.  I had the pleasure of knowing someone just like this.  I am asking for your help.  First, I need to tell you exactly who this person was.  His name was Andrew, and to some of us he was simply 'Prendy.'  He was the most kind, gentle, caring and compassionate person I have had the pleasure of getting to know.  He was that guy that would take off his jacket in the cold for a person in need.  He would advise the new officers on their finances for their futures.  Prendy would greet anyone that crossed his path... that was just who he was.  He lived and worked hard for his family and his kids, they meant the world to him.  No sleep was no problem as long as his family was taken care of.

On October 14, 2017 we unexpectedly lost our brother, friend, husband, father, son and we gained an angel.  Perhaps in the physical, he could not do as much as he wanted to, but now he can move mountains.  Prendy was a cheerful giver and provider doing God's work.  He leaves behind two young children that he worked tirelessly to provide a way for them to attend college and excel in their lives.  The purpose of this fund is to establish a trust fund to help make his dream a reality for his children

Cameron is ten years old.  He is athletic, nurturing and very intelligent.  He is definitely his father’s child because he is so attentive to everyone else's needs.  He was with his father when he passed away.  And he is now the backbone for his family and taking on the role of the young man of the house.

Chole is three years old.  She has such a beautiful spirit and she makes everyone smile effortlessly.  She is wise beyond her years and embraces life.  She still asks for her father every day.  They were incredibly close and she misses him very much.

I am my brother's keeper and it will take a village to help his children live the life that Prendy wanted for them.  As supportive as he was in life, we are asking to help show his kids, he made a difference and it did not go unnoticed.  And even after he passed, their father lived a life that ensured a chance for a promising future.  Any donations you provide will be a blessing.  Thank you for your time and support.
