As you all know, my family has been through a lot the last 2 years and it’s still ongoing. From our health to everyday life to finances. I made the decision to focus on my mom as her carer and my daughter with her mental health illnesses. They need me and I am gladly there for them. I thankfully have mentors that are my Pastors and I am grateful, they have been so influential.
My landlord is selling our house, we need to be out by the 3rd.
I scoured every where to find something we could afford and finally found a place to live this week - definitely close to the wire.
I unfortunately do not have all the fees they want. I can afford the monthly rent but they want a extremely high security deposit that includes the pet deposit (I was initially told 500$ for the deposits) plus prorated rent for December (I was told it would be waved cause it’s only 2 days.) I have the 500$ plus January rent. I have been totally blindsided by the deposit amount and have no idea what to do.
If I can’t get the funds by 5pm tomorrow, We can’t move and we will be homeless.
I am ashamed and embarrassed that I have to ask for help. I always try to do it on my own but this time I can’t. I have to protect and do what is best for my family.
