"Friends and family...just wanted to officially let you know that I have been diagnosed with a rare form of acute leukemia. I was at work Saturday and I was admitted Monday (yesterday 10/21/13).
I noticed large bruises on my legs that wouldn't heal then by Monday I was so out of breath that I could barely walk. Last Wednesday I had the blood work that alerted specialists. I really have a great team of doctors they tell me I will be undergoing treatment for 30 days. Bottom line. The Lord is good to me! He has surrounded me with wonderful family and thoughtful friends. I look forward to proving skeptics wrong that miracles do happen and having people come together for something more important. Now, if I could just rest...I fought with the nurse to make my own bed "”
