Greetings!
I am Dedrain (Dee-dree-in) Davis, a Junior Public Relations Major, Political Science Minor at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. The purpose of this page is to help me raise money to Study Abroad, summer of 2014 to South Africa.
I hope to use this study abroad trip to expand my knowledge and experience in politics, and also be the voice for underrepresented communities in state and local politics.
I am an active volunteer in my community, in my home state of Minneosta and on my college campus. After graduation, I plan to go to Grad. school an eventually work for a public relations firm, or as a press secretary.
My family has worked hard to send me to college and as the only child of a single family household, extending existing loans is the last resort.
