4x match: $16,000 for the Nisenan
Donation protected
For all details of the cause, please read this page: chirpca.org/homelandreturn
There is also an official GoFundMe for the project: "Homeland Return for Nevada City Rancheria Nisenan", so if you don't trust my scheme, no hard feelings, please donate there instead! I'm not linking it here so as to not cause confusion, but it is easy to find. You may also wish to donate through official channels if you plan to deduct this donation from your taxes.
But please consider donating here, so we can turn this money into more money :)
This is an incredibly important cause; a small step in righting wrongs that should have been righted long ago.
I am raising funds for the homeland return of the Northern Foothills Nisenan tribe. Partially through my own funds and partially through the tech company I work for, I've found resources to do a 4x match of up to $4,000, ultimately donating $16,000 to the cause (if you give $100, $400 will be donated, etc).
Another unknown angelic individual is also matching up to $100k of funds donated to the Nisenan organization this week, so there is a chance that this $4,000 in donations will actually be turned into $24,000 or even $32,000. The faster we get all $4,000 donated, the better chance there is of that happening!!!
I personally guarantee that: all money donated up to $4,000 will be AT LEAST be matched (2x), and donated to the "California Heritage: Indigenous Research Project" (CHIRP) 501(c)(3) organization, specifically for the Homeland Return fund, before the April 4th deadline.
While I have high confidence in achieving the second doubling to arrive at 16k, this second part of the match may take some time, and may not be received by the Nisenan until after April 4th. However, money will still be needed after April 4th for the second funding round.
Once receipts or other paperwork showing the donations are available, I will link them here. Please message me with any questions.
I personally appreciate every donor so so much, thank you <3
