"Ranger Danger" Surgery Fund

Everyone! This is Ranger.
This little fighter is roughly 4 months old and made it a week and a half on his own with two broken back legs before Ellie Christie found him trying to cross the road in Jackson, OH.
Still trying to hobble around on his broken legs, and weighing next to nothing; it took her an hour to get him to trust her, but she was finally able to scoop him up and bring him to a local vet where she hoped he would find refuge.
Unfortunately, they did not have a local humane society and informed Ellie he would be put down in as soon as 3 days if no one came to claim him... That just didn't seem right...
So we claimed him.
After bringing him the specialists in Columbus, OH we got some good news. His hips, pelvis and growth plates all looked good. But we also found out the extent of the damage to his legs.
Ranger has a broken Femur in his back right leg. As well as a broken Fibula and Tibia in his back left leg. Since he had made it so long on his own. The breaks started the healing process without any re-alignment. He'll need surgery to correct the problem. He was so thin, the doctors didn't feel safe doing the surgery right away...
He is currently on his way to Green Bay with Ellie. He needed 3-6 days of food and water to prepare for the surgery in the Green Bay/Fox Valley area. It may be a little less expensive than what was quoted by the specialists in OH, but the surgery itself could still be costly.
So, any of you dog lovers out there looking to help give this guy a second chance at happy life, please donate to his surgery fund! Anything and everything can help.
It would be a huge help for Ellie and I, and more importantly life changing for Ranger.
