Jordan's Namibia Photo Workshop

My wife, Jordan, over the last year and a half has discovered a passion for photography. I have been absolutely amazed with how much she progressed and the amount of heart that goes into her work. Constantly critiquing her own work and striving to take the best photos she can. Now onto what this campaign is about. Jordan recently brought to my attention that there is a photgraphy workshop in Namibia, South Africa, ran by two of her favorite photographers and influences. The workshop is a 7 day safari taking pictures of Giraffes, Elephants, Cheetas, and many more exotic animals, all while getting feedback and 1 on 1 time with the instructors. A once in a lifetime experience and a huge learning opportunity. The workshop is only accepting 8 applicants and Jordan has passed the application process and has been approved to be able to go, which I wanted to make sure before I tried raising money for her to be able to go. (Just because she passed through doesn't require her to go, I need to raise the money now.) This is something I wish I was able to provide for her at this time but with me finishing up school in the last year and the amount of student loans between us this is something she wouldn't be able to do for a long time. Also I just wanna make it clear that this isn't me trying to raise money for a vacation or something like that, Jordan would be the only one going and while yes she is going to have a lot of fun, she will also be learning every day from two amazing photographers and this is something that will definitely help bring her photography to the next level. Here is a breakdown of the costs of the workshop, it's pretty straight forward: $3600 For The Workshop (includes lodging, and food, and passes to the safaris). $1600 For A Plane Ticket. If by some amazing chance this does get funded and anything goes over what we are trying to raise. It will go to any other travel related expenses. And one last thing, if this campaign gets funded and Jordan is able to go, we are going to give away 3 prints from her trip. They will be full size framed wall prints and we will just randomly choose 3 people from anyone who donated. EVERYONE who donates will recieve a 5x7 print as a thank you. If the campaign is not funded everyone who donated will get a full REFUND. I just wanted to try and get Jordan this once in a lifetime learning experience, and you never know if you don't try.
