Help For Michael And Dina

A few weeks ago 38 year old Michael Banta was told devastating news.. He needed emergency surgery which would require him to have a colostomy. His beautiful wife of 2 years was hoping for the best while she cared for their 23 month old son Ben and worked full time as a registered nurse. The news that came after the surgery was not what they had hoped and prayed for at all. After meeting with the oncologist they were told that Michael has Stage 4 colon cancer which has spread to his liver. They will try palliative chemo but the prognosis at this time is 2-3 years. Michael was a full time student ( so no sick time) and Dina was working full time. She has limited amount of time she can take off to be with Michael during his recovery from surgery and his treatments. Dina doesn’t know who will be able to watch baby Ben while she does work. She has contemplated splitting the family up and taking Ben to Philippines so family can watch him but that means Michael doesn’t get to enjoy time with his son. They have no family here to help them out. Any financial donations would be appreciated to allow Dina time with her husband and to pay for groceries and babysitting.
