Recovery After Head Trauma

Donation protected
On Thursday afternoon, Phil was snowboarding with two friends when he misjudged a jump and fell to the ground hitting his head. The impact caused him to lose consciousness and his friends knew they had to call for help. Phil was airlifted to WellSpan York hospital where they assessed him and did a series of scans to rule out any serious injuries. Luckily, there were no broken bones, and no bleeding in the brain. The doctors decided he had a very serious concussion that took away most of his cognitive skills. After sleeping for 20 hours, Phil was finally able to communicate with doctors and remember small details such as where he worked, and where he lived. Although he was sent home after 24 hours, Phil is still in a lot of pain and needs rehabilitation sessions to get his strength back, both mentally and physically. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be used to help Phil get the care he needs to recover. If you can’t donate, we ask that you pray or send good thoughts his way.
