*This upcoming January 2014, I will be embarking on a journey to a city called Townsville in Queensland, Australia to work with the Christian Organization YWAM (Youth With A Mission).
*I will be attending their Discipleship Training School that will run for just under six months. This school is a nationally recognized, field based, Christian training program designed to transform, equip, and inspire young people from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.
*During my first 12 weeks, I will be engaged with lectures from YWAM staff and leaders from around the globe. They will be encouraging me and helping to broaden my understanding of missions in hopes to open my heart, challenge my mind, and inspire me to act.
*The second duration of the school I will be sent out with my fellow teammates to another country for outreach missions. This portion of the school is focused on empowering young people, working with the poor and disadvantaged in remote locations and building capacity in the local community.
*I am so excited to be able to have the chance to bring hope and life to those who are in great need!
Fundraising is what it will take to make this opportunity happen and so any donations are greatly appreciated!
