After having back surgery last Aug & lingering shoulder pain unresolved thru rehab, my 52 year old, brother-in-law was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer of Unknown Origin (CUO) the week before Christmas. Treatment plans of radiation & chemotherapy are underway to attack the cancer in his lung, shoulder, & buttock. While the road will be difficult, anything is possible, & we hold hope for such.
In the interest of reducing financial stress for my sister & her two children, I’m launching this campaign in an attempt to call on friends, family, & community to raise $ to retire their mortgage. In an effort to reach that goal, I’m offering a challenge match of 5 cents for every dollar raised up to $5k, which will help reach the goal while covering the GoFundMe fees of 2.9%.
Chunking the goal down: 3,000 to donate $25, or 1,500 to donate $50, or 1,000 to donate $75, or 750 to donate $100, or 500 to donate $150, or 150 to donate $500. Of course, any & every donation is appreciated, regardless of the amount. #takesavillage
