St Andrew's fundraising: Sussex Search & Rescue
Do you want to join us in making a difference?
St Andrew's community aligns with 6 local charities, and aims to support them in the excellent work they do across the locality. One of our aligned charities is Sussex Search & Rescure, who commit themselves to searching for vulnerable missing people such as the elderly, people living with dementia, despondents, children and anyone else deemed to be a high risk. To raise money for our charities, St Andrew's staff are undertaking an 'Iron Person' throughout the course of this half term. That means that every staff member who signs up will have to complete the full distances of the Iron Woman/Man challenge, which are:
- 2.4 mile swim
- 112 mile cycle
- 26.2 mile run
We'll be keeping a running total, and will update regularly on social media. We know that the coming months will be a challenge for many, and so every donation will help these local charities continue their excellent work. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause.
