Help TC get to the Beijing Paralympics

Hi, my name is Tyler Carter (or TC) and I am a 2x Paralympian in the sport of Alpine Skiing. I am in the final stage of training to hopefully compete at the 2022 Paralympics in Beijing - and I need your help! I have been on this path for nearly 12 years and have had the honor of representing Team USA twice so far at the games (2014 and 2018). In order to be as best prepared for this last push I need funding for races, travel, and equipment. Pursuing this goal is no easy feat and it is incredibly expensive. Currently I have no financial backing and have been working full-time and training full time in hopes of accomplishing this goal! Every little bit counts and it would mean everything to me to have your support.

A little about myself: I am a right leg below the knee amputee. I lost my leg at the age of one due to being born without my fibula. I have tried to live my life with the motto that you can do anything you want if you don't give up. I found skiing at the age of eight and eventually got into racing. After attending the 2010 Paralympics as a spectator I knew it was my mission to attend the games as an athlete and represent Team USA. While skiing is my life, I also strongly believe in giving back to the community and making the world a more positive place. I'm a strong promoter of healthy active lifestyles and partner with various non-profits to make this passion a reality. This will be my last push to make a Paralympics as an Alpine Skier and I truly appreciate your consideration.
