Sister Rashida’s New Car Fund

Sister Rasheeda has been such an important part of the Buffalo community, especially the Islamic community of Buffalo. She’s been a consistent volunteer for over 20 years in multiple mosques going above and beyond her means to serve the impoverished and at the same time, supporting her children through college which is no easy feat. I️ can say on behalf of everyone, she has had such an astounding impact on our community which most of us end up taking for granted. Her car, a 2001 Chevy Tracker, is barley able to drive her from point A to B as it’s nearing the end of its lifespan. Her car also has reoccurring oil leaks and holes which are out of her means to repair. For the Buffalo winter, having a car in such condition is unacceptable. As a community, the least we can do is set up a fund to give her the means to buy herself a car that will Inshallah, run for many cold Buffalo winters and hot summers. Thank you, Ameen.
