Elijah and Tonya are going to Haiti!

Elijah and I will be going on our first missions trip to Port Au Prince Haiti. We are going March 16 - March 21. This trip will be filled with serving and ministering in various areas. We will go to a prison to minister to, distribute supplies, and pray with the people there. There will be a Kids Crusade and Marriage seminar and feeding the people in the village. The day that I am most looking forward to the day we visit the orphanage and maternity area of a hospital there in Port Au Prince. We will be loving on babies, praying over the moms, babies, and the sick. I can't wait to share Jesus, through loving on others! My heart is just longing for this already!

The cost of this trip is $1400 each of us. In the natural this seems crazy to think that we can raise this much money, but I know that God has called us to go and this is nothing to Him! Thank you in advance for your Support!

Elijah:
Hey friends and family! So The Lord is moving me into a new season of my life where I feel like God is going to start using me in new maybe less comfortable ways for me, and with that he is taking me to new places. I feel like The Lord has asked me to go to Haiti! Like I said its a little uncomfortable but still very much exciting at the same time.
The trip is in march from the 16th through the 21st, while there we will be staying at the Hatians Helping Hatians Ministry home in Port au Prince. We will be busy with prison ministry, prayer and worship training with the locals, Kids ministry, and ministry in the Port au Prince hospital maternity ward with mom's and babies.
This such an amazing opportunity and so exciting for me. At first the cost of this trip was intimidating having to raise $1400 in a few months and $800 by December 1st, but The Lord reminded me that he is my provider and the only thing that will come out of this is a revelation of his faithfulness and a testimony as he does what he promised.

Tonya:
I am going to Haiti! I am so very excited to share this with you all. It seems for the last year, I have had this fleeting thought about going, yet never feeling the urge or desire. Then a group from church went a month or so ago and started posting photos of their trip. They showed photos of going to the orphanage and into a maternity ward and working with moms, with breastfeeding and loving on these babies. It stirred something in me and I knew I wanted to do that. The talk of another trip popped up but I didn't really have the urging, but did say that if the orphanage and maternity that I would want to consider it. Most of you know that babies, breastfeeding, and childbirth are my God given passion and man has this been burning for a while. In the meantime, Elijah really started desiring to go. This morning at church there was a meeting, I sat in for Elijah as he was home sick, and I do not think it was by chance! Hearing the details, the want and desire to go, strirred. So yeah, I go to sit in on this meeting to get information for Elijah, and realize that I needed to be on this trip too! This will be my first ever mission trip. I am so excited to share it with my oldest son. I know that God is going to do some amazing things in our lives, and family, through serving in Haiti.
