Go Fund Chanel

Hello,  my name is Chanel Dews and I am a sophmore at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), currently majoring in Dance & Choreography. I am writing to solicit your help with a opportunity of a lifetime.

I truly have a passion and love for dance and dance will always hold a special place in my heart! When I received a call from an elite dance program in Los Angeles, California about a professional dance opportunity that could have a huge impact on my dance career, so my mother and I couldn't turn down the offer.  I am extremely excited about the opportunity to train in a Hollywood dance studio!  After talking with Bryan Clawson, the Director.  He informed my mom and I that Mrs. Kelly Owens-Adams, former Washington Redskin cheerleader, dance professional and instructor, shared wonderful things about me and my dancing skills.  Mr. Clawson stated that he would love to have me join his program in California this summer without having to audition.  In order to take advantage of this dream program, I need your help to raise $3,500!

This exciting program is described below:
"HOLLYWOOD BIZ" was designed to educate up-and-coming professional dancers in this crazy show business industry.....They have made an abundant amount of connections over the years with professional dancers, choreographers, casting agents, producers and talent agencies. THIS IS NOT ANOTHER DANCE INTENSIVE WORKSHOP. It's educating the dancer to prepare for a professional dance career. Not only will I attend dance, acting and vocal classes, I will be in rehearsals with Alec Clawson for Carnival "The Choreographers Ball" and then have a private audition with 2 or more major dance & commercial agencies. If they like what they see, I may sign with that agency and hopefully begin a professional career in dance. 

The total program cost is $3,500 and the breakdown is below:
$475 - Program Fee
$950- Hotel
$475- Dance, acting, vocal and seminar classes
$175- Rehearsal Space Rental for Carnival
$250- Choreographers Fee
$175- Carnival Participation
$175- Video/Photography Fee
$825- Airfare and spending money while in California

I leave for California on Friday, July 15, 2016; therefore, I am asking you to contribute to my trip fund through "go fund me."  This opportunity will open endless professional doors for me!
