James Williams

To Our Viking Family ~

James, the father of Darnell Williams who plays on Senior Black, had an accident last Monday. James was on his way to work and was having car trouble. He parked his car and took the key out. The car kept running. He opened the hood to try to disconnect the battery. Something went wrong and hot coolant sprayed over him and caused him to get burned. Thankfully security guards and co-workers were nearby to help him. He is at the Grossman Burn Center (West Hills Hospital). He has third degree burns on his right bicep and arm, second degree burns on his right side of the chest and first degree burns on his chin and his lower face. He has had one surgery and is expected to have another next week.

Darnell's older brother James also played with the Vikings. He is now a Junior attending Burbank High and plays on the Varsity team. Darnell's sister, Katherine attends Luther Middle School.
