I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil".Psalms 23 Friends and family this is truly my walk through the valley. On October 27th at 2:39 p.m. I received news and was diagnosed with oropharyngeal squamous carcinoma cancer that has metastasized into my lymph nodes and nasal cavity. The timing could not have been worse in that my insurance at my previous work place  ran out in August. Some of you may be wondering why I am just now setting up this page up. The most important element of cancer upon diagnosis is to find out where and how much cancer is present. Once you have this information a treatment plan needs to be put in place ASAP to discontinue the spread of the disease. All of my CT scans have been completed and all of my biopsies have been examined. A treatment plan via chemotherapy and radiation has been completed as well. Chemotherapy began this past Thursday December 14th.  My treatments are being done through a nonprofit organization however outside of the hospital facility my primary physician, independent CT scan facility, ENT physician, chemotherapy physician, dentist and oncologist will be separate bills to me. I was hoping that I would be able to continue to work during treatments. I now know that work of any kind is not going to be possible which is why I have set up this page to assist me.
