Remembering Baby Matthew

Baby Matthew was brought into this world on September 27th, 2013 and after only 22 short days, he was called home to be with Jesus. After several weeks of bedrest including a couple of weeks in the hospital, my wonderful Sister-In-Law Jennifer Whetham gave birth to her 1st born son Matthew Allen Whetham. Born at only 29 1/2 weeks gestation and only 2lbs 12oz; Matthew was a fighter in every sense of the word and was the light of Jennifer and Stephen's lives.

I am starting this GoFundMe page for the Whetham Family in anticipation of insurmountable expenses from costs of services, medical bills, and time off of work. Jennifer of-course has been out of work due to bedrest and caring for Matty and Stephen has had to miss work to be with them during their time in the hospital and of-course to be with his baby boy when he was sick.

If you cannot donate monetarily, we just ask that you keep Jennifer and Stephen and their daughters in your thoughts and prayers as they try to get through this difficult time.

Ever since I've known Jennifer and Stephen, I have known of their longing to add to their family with a child together. Matthew was an unexpected surprise after several years and a cherished miracle who has forever been etched in our hearts. We are so thankful for the time that he was here.

Although we cannot understand why Matthew Allen Whetham was only on this earth for a short time and why many hearts had to be broken, we know that there was a bigger plan for him.

We love you Matty! We look forward to the day when we can be near you again, you are forever in our hearts!
