We LOVE the kids

As you all know, we absolutely have a deep passion for providing a loving, safe home for ALL children. Our journey through navigating the foster care system has been life changing.  Baby EJ came to our house when he was 4 days old as a temporary placement, and BAM 5 months later this little guy is still filling our home with his loving presence. Recently we have been presented with the opportunity to take in baby EJ’s siblings. One of the main goals of foster care is to keep siblings together. We are looking to reunite these siblings and give them the space and love they all deserve. We are so stoked at the idea of being able to give them the opportunity to grow up together whether it be through fostering or adopting. 

This is where you all come in. Our condo currently is licensed with the State of Michigan as a  3 bedroom; due to laws stating any rooms in a basement must have an emergency egress access window. We have the potential to turn our 3 bedroom condo into a 4 bedroom, as we have a large space/room in our fully finished basement that could be the bedroom that helps reunite baby EJ and his siblings. We are reaching out to friends and family to see if we can get assistance from you all to cover half the cost of an emergency egress window installation. It would open up endless opportunities for us to allow these kiddos and any future kiddos the space to grow together. Our family would be forever grateful to anyone that can donate to this project. We are looking to have the work completed no later than the end of April. We have already found a local, licensed contractor to do the work.
