Outward Bound Peacebuilder

Outward Bound Peacebuilding is an amazing organization that brings the methodology of Outward Bound outdoor experiences to peacebuilding work. They have programs all over the globe, bringing together emerging peace leaders for outdoor experiences and conflict resolution training.

I have been chosen for this year's crop of peacebuilders to spend 10 days in the wilderness of Costa Rica to be trained in the methods of experiential peacebuilding.

I am fortunate to have spent many days out on trails and in mountains, but this challenge excites me more than any of my past adventures. I look forward to learning from fellow peace leaders and getting intimately familiar with another beautiful mountain range in this world.

In order to take part in this once in a lifetime opportunity, I have to make a $900 deposit by October 30. All funds go to this awesome organization, and to the efforts of many to make the outdoors a place not only where we experience individual transformation, but move closer to peace as a society.
