New Digs

Since December 2014, I have been seeking help to get into better housing.  Because I spent last winter in a house that which has minimal heat & water, I really want to live somewhere else before Winter 2015.  I want to live near the person whom I consider my daughter, yes that is her in the picture - she makes me happy. I want to live in a place where repairs are made in a timely, efficient way. 
I am a 65 year old Air Force and Army veteran.  My only child and the most wonderful son in the universe was killed in Baghdad, Iraq in October 2006.  I have no family close to where I live now and want to live close to my daughter.
I'm estimating that $3,000 would help me to have rent deposits & moving fees.
My old school methods of calling and writing did not work.  I decided to take a hint from today's kids and use social media.  Peace & Love, Carolyn
