Hello as many of you know I’m not one to post these types of things but this past week we found out that my grandmother had lung cancer, she had her surgery this past Tuesday to remove as much of the mass as they could. Unfortunately on Valentine’s Day a day that was supposed to be about love and joy took a turn for the worse with her passing. She is now with her 2 sons that also passed away a few years back. Words can’t describe how much of a sweet caring hardworking person she was. One of her dreams before passing was getting to see her daughter (my mom) in person again, luckily 2 years ago she was able to get her visa and come see us after 17 years. During her 2 visits she made sure she taught us some of her recipes and showed us how much she cared for us. She would always help others and talk to everyone in the grocery store and as she was sweeping the street. Her passing was very sudden for us and something we didn’t expect as we were also planning her 3rd visit this spring. She was loved by many and will be missed 10x more. “You loved me your whole life and I will miss you for the rest of mine”.
