Help Save Basie!

Hi. My dog Basie has just been diagnosed with pancreatic insulinoma- a fancy name for cancer. He has an insulin-secreting tumor that is forcing his blood sugar lethally low. Without surgery to remove the tumor Basie doesn't have long to live.
Unfortunately, his surgery is very, very expensive. That's where your help can come in. Every little bit is appreciated.
If you know Basie, you know he's a sweet and loving little gentleman. He loves eating carrots, playing fetch with carrots and holding carrots in his snout like little orange cigars. He also enjoys Judas Priest's "Breakin the Law" and his stuffed Woodstock.
If you don't know Basie, I hope you get the chance. He's the coolest dog you'll ever know. And I will do whatever I can do to keep him alive and loved for as long as possible.
Basie's surgery is scheduled for Monday, October 21st. Please help us make this happen.
