Leonard Dawson’s Funeral Expenses

Hello everyone, I hope this finds you in good spirit as it is the holidays and time for celebration. As Lenny’s Friend and roommate I know he would not want to keep anyone down through the holidays. His life deserves to be celebrated with all the joy he brought in to this world. Lenny was a good man, a great friend, and a loving son. Losing him has been a tremendous loss to the whole community but it would put a smile on his face to have seen the amount of friends that have shown there respect and rallied together as our giant family. As many of you know I am taking care of Lenny’s funeral along with Lenny’s step father Steve and several other friends helping where they can. We have been able to get through this only with everyones support. Lenny is going to be taken home to Rhode Island to be laid to rest by his grandmother. A small amount of his ashes will also be kept here in Hollywood at the Hollywood forever cemetery. Because of his love for theatre and film,his father and I feel it would be very special to have a part of him here. It is somewhere to visit him locally but is a bit higher than what Steve and I are able to spend. We are willing to do whatever it takes to get Him there. We are asking for donations to help cover these costs. Anything you can spare will go to a good cause. I am in the process of setting up a vigil and his services so the details will be posted shortly for those of you who would like to join. Lenny was very lucky to have so many amazing friends.
