I always thought somebody should do something about that. Then I realized, I am somebody.
When our time comes we take not with us the dollars and the things we possess, rather leave behind a legacy. A legacy of how we touched people. We are so blessed in contrast to the thousands of diseased and orphaned children all over the world. We live in a global community where we enjoy the benefits, and I believe it is also our responsibility as a global community to take care of one another. Whether it's your neighbour beside you, or on the other side of the world. Your child at home, or one who suffers across the globe. We all deserve peace, hope and love. So with your support and encouragement I am going to deliver.
As I embark on my journey volunteering at an Orphanage in Cambodia, I take with me any resources, donations and encouragement you can offer. I want to thank each of you as you inspire me every day, and you can't imagine how that has helped me to get here. Every penny goes such a long way. While I have offers for toys and books, things like clean water, food and health care are so much more urgently needed. Unlike a charity donation where a portion goes to admin, 100% of the donations I receive will be brought in hand to offer urgent support and care, touch the lives of these children, and change their paths. With every dollar we let them know that despite the horrors they have experienced, the world is a beautiful place, people are kind, and the world is full of love for them. We touch them with kindness and make the world a better place. Once kind touch at a time.
