My dad’s cancer treatment

Dear All,
I'm Farid Dibirov from Azerbaijan. In July 2018 my dad (Abdulla Dibirov) was suffering from constipation for a week. He decided to go to clinic for treatment and examination. During CT scan of the abdominal cavity it was founded 11 cm long tumor in his sigmoid intestine. On 11.07.2018 he was undergone an operation and part of his intestine was removed. Unfortunately, on 19.07.2018 anastomotic leak was detected and on the same day the second operation of colostomy formation was performed. The result of pathohistological examination showed that my dad has cancer pT3N1Mx, Grade II.

At the end of August of 2018, he decide to go to Moscow for examination in Hertzen Cancer Research Institute. After examination doctors prescribed him 6 courses of chemotherapy. He received all 6 courses of chemotherapy at "National Oncological Center" in Baku. But this chemotherapy didn’t help him and in February of 2019 after CT scan it was detected that cancer started to metastasis to his lungs. Our family decided it will be better for my dad if he would go to Ankara for examination in Hacettepe University Cancer Institute. After PET-CT scan doctors of Hacettepe University confirmed that he got metastasis to his lungs and prescribed again 6 courses of chemotherapy and strongly recommended to take a very expensive drug Bevacizumab (under the trade name Avastin). The price of this drug is approximately 1700 EUR and my dad need 4 of it. We don’t have money for this drug and time to wait. On top of everything else he has hernia in his back, so he cannot move properly and he is also using colostomy bag almost 1 year which makes his life so terrible.
In order to pay for his chemotherapy he sold his car, my mom took loan from bank and I’m working abroad to help my dad. I am asking you to help our family fighting through this horrible sickness. I’m just 22 and I don’t want to lose my dad so young. From my childhood he promised me not to die without seeing my wedding day. Please help him to keep his promise.
It is impossible to get over this horrible disease without your help! We can’t imagine the life without him, our family will get lost.
