Help For Apollo

Hey Everybody - It’s Apollo. Y’all have undoubtedly seen my special face plastered all over my Momma and Daddy’s facebook wall for my 2 - almost 3 years of life. Recently, I’ve ran into some problems with my liver. They aren’t exactly sure whats going on, but everyone is doing everything they can for me. Momma and Daddy brought me to the Emergency Room on Sunday, and I’ve been here on fluids, and many different medications to help my condition. After a scare with Hepatic Encephalopathy (where the toxins not filtered by my liver were causing me some neurological problems) they’ve got me on some medicine that continues to improve my condition. The feeding tube is slowly bringing back my strength. My Momma and Daddy have been here everyday making sure I still wanted to fight. They tell me I am more than a dog - but their first baby. They say I gave them the title of “Momma” and “Daddy”, and that I have a big job upcoming, being a big brother to Baby RJ. Daddy came to tell me “See you later” this morning before he started his drive to California today to his first duty station and will be bringing the whole family out to Fort Irwin with him soon. I heard him talking about finances when leaving, and I know this awesome care these people are giving me can’t be cheap. But they seem willing and committed to getting me through this. As a family - we don’t want to “beg” or obligate you in anyway, but if you have the ability/would like to help us with this incredibly tough situation gratitude and appreciation would be an understatement. Any little bit can go a long way.
