Auriel Is Going To Nicaragua!

Hello family and friends! Let me tell you about my niece, Auriel. She is amazing! Some of you may know that it's been a hard year for her, to say the least. But, she's doing so great and working so hard! She earned all A's on her first report card at a new school, Independence Charter School. She's in a band and plays the guitar. She plays for Kensington Soccer Club. And, she was recently accepted to go on a service/learning trip to Nicaragua with some of her classmates. We are brainstorming some fundraising ideas to help make this trip possible. One idea is to ask people to sponsor her hours as a tutor. She is a peer math tutor at school and we are hoping to start volunteering to tutor some local kids from the soccer club. We are asking for anyone who can to pledge $1 per hour of tutoring with a maximum of 25 hours (any amount is appreciated though!). I'll use this page to keep everyone updated on how the tutoring is going. Thanks so much everyone.
