Some call her Cat, some know her as Cathy, others Catherine. All of us know her as a beloved best friend, sister, daughter, aunt, mother and Nonna. Where it is family over everything.  To be her friend is to have a gift because she is loyal like no other and when she loves, she loves strong.

Catherine is a 46-year-old mother of 2, and "Nonna" or grandmother of 4. She is a driven businesswoman and yet is someone who never turns down the opportunity to help both family and friends when they need her-- even when that means traveling across the country to do so.

In early June, Catherine was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma).

During the first few weeks of her journey, she has experienced nausea, fatigue, a collapsed lung, and the rigors of aggressive chemotherapy treatments.

Unfortunately her cancer is too aggressive for surgery.

She will need to continue undergoing the chemotherapy treatments twice per week every other week, and will then be going weekly for 12 weeks. After completing her course of chemo, she must then begin Radiation treatments. Only after chemo and radiation can she safely look at performing the needed surgery.

Catherine's goal is to attack cancer from multiple fronts.

In addition to the chemo and radiation, she is also doing alternative and homeopathic treatments that insurance does not cover, so she is paying out of pocket.

She would like to participate in a treatment center that will provide nutrition advisement, juicing and complete detoxification. The goal is for her to incorporate nutritional supplementation plus other supportive therapies, that will help her to repair and build a more properly functioning body. A body that is functioning well can improve its immune system and subsequently its healing capabilities which in turn will better fight this cancer that is robbing her from enjoying her life and quality time with her family and friends.

For this reason it is her family's mission to raise enough funding to help Catherine with these extra expenses and to support her efforts to participate in a specialized treatment center for at least 15 days, the typical time necessary to administer the full protocol and experience all that the center offers to optimize Catherine's body and it's ability to heal itself from disease.

Please help Catherine get the opportunity to take part in this innovative, ground-breaking, and life saving experience.

Her life is so precious to us.

Catherine has never crossed paths with someone that she hasn't touched in some way with her incredible light. She has had an impact on so many people throughout her life with her unselfish spirit.

We hope that all those that know and love her, or those who have experienced first-hand how cancer can destroy a family's life, will please assist Catherine by making a donation to help raise the money necessary to meet all of her needs.

Her life means so much to so many people, near and far. If saving her life is the difference between going to this center and not going, we have to do EVERYTHING we can do to get her there. Every little bit counts and gets her closer to being cancer-free. We believe in what this treatment can do for her.  Please help with a donation. We appreciate anything you can give no matter how small.

Be a part of helping us keep her light shining brightly for many, many, many more years to come.

With love, light, blessings, and our deepest and sincerest gratitude,

~The Garcia Family
