4th Annual Costume Drive
Donation protected
With renewed sense of purpose we are happy to announce our 4th annual Costume Drive. For many local families, Halloween costumes are not an essential item in the family budget. In addition to the financial burden this Holiday some families may experience, there are also families that are time starved. This is the number 1 comment we have received from past Halloween Drives. "Thank you for saving our family the time to go our and make this purchase for our child"
Once again our beneficiaries for this Costume Drive are the Inova Children's Hospital, The Shelter House, Jill's House and now through our personal experience, Pediatric Specialists of Virginia, our local clinic where my son Drew receives the majority of his chemotherapy treatments.
Combined we have FOUR HUNDRED children we aspire to "outfit" this year.
We are asking for costume donations from local families but also for cash donations to help purchase sizes and or costumes that have not been collected through our efforts. In addition this year we have established an Amazon Wish List based on the feedback we have collected from Various organizations.
The drive ends OCTOBER 1st. We want to get these costumes in our children's hands early this year to alleviate the burden on families and ensure our children have their costumes to celebrate at any earlier parades or parties. We appreciate your help before that time.
