<div>As you all know, my dad is in the final stages of his battle with ALS. Watching someone you love fade from a disease like this is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. This was very difficult on both of us, but I managed to make him smile every chance I got and bought him all the Oreos and Mountain Dews his heart desired. I made the most of what time he had left.

<div>My dad has always been larger than life, but his truest self was shown when he was behind a karaoke mic. That’s where he lit up the room, made people laugh, and reminded everyone what joy really looks like. Those nights and those friends meant everything to him.

<div>As I prepare to say goodbye, I want to honor him the way he deserves. I’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover his burial in a cemetary in Worcester, where my grandmother is. <strong>Any contribution, no matter how small, will help me give him the send-off that reflects the man and that veteran he is.</strong>

<div>Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out, shared memories, and shown support through this painful time. Your love and kindness mean more than I can ever express.
