Benefit Travis Dean Whitaker

Travis Dean Whitaker continues to fight such a courageous battle.  To update everyone his liver, intestines, sinuses and para nasal cavaties are all clean at this time.  HOWEVER, He has stage 4 Lung Cancer and the cancer has moved to his bones.  As the Medical Plan year begins over for my friend,and deductibles and out of pockets have to be met again.  He is once again at a place where he needs our assistance.   He needs $3000 up front to begin this next stage of treatment.   I am not sure how to reset the Goal amount, so I am just adding $3000 to our previous contributions.

Travis Dean Whitaker has been my dear friend since 1972. He has been in my life longer than anyone, outside of family. Dean was diagnosed with cancer in 2004 shortly after the death of his wife and soul-mate, Allyson. He has continued to raise 3 beautiful children while battling his own cancer. 167 Chemo treatments, 14 rounds of Radiation and at least 11 surgeries. This man has continued to work as a teacher, going to school, even when his body screamed for him to stay in bed. He has been a great warrior.

Friends of Dean,
It is with some hesitation that he has agreed to allow me to serve him in this manner. I know that many of us have expressed a desire to help him, and felt so helpless.
