We just found out that our son Hunter has Torticollis and needs to have a Cranial Remolding Band for his head. He has Plagiocephaly(also known as "flat head" syndrome),which is relatively common condition that can be corrected with a Cranial Remolding Band. Most premature "twin" pregnancies can cause this to happen. In Hunter's case he was the squished twin causing his head to be mis-shaped. His right side of his forehead sticks out a tad further than his left&has caused his right side of his head to be completly flat. The Cranial remolding band will re-shape his head back to normal. This special helmet is $4,500.00 which our Insurance will not cover. We are reaching out to our friends and family to try and get this for him as soon as possible. The sooner the better as he is in his first year of life and this is when your head grows the most. Anything helps get us to our goal for our little Hunter.
