Gracie’s Leg (TPLO) Surgery

Hello family and friends. Most of you know my pup, Gracie. I’ve had her for seven going on eight years and she brings me so much love and joy. A few months ago she tore her cruciate ligament in her right leg. She had this same surgery in 2014 on her left leg and since then I’ve had pet insurance for her. When it happened again i was grateful to be covered, however when i called to get coverage confirmation i was informed there is a bilateral exception clause and she would not be covered. The clause states since she hurt her other leg before she was covered if she hurts the other leg it’s not covered either even though the current injured leg was fine before she was covered. Pet surgery is unfortunately a little bit more expensive than I’m able to easily afford, so i am turning to you, family and friends to ask for any help you may be able to contribute (even a penny helps) so my Gracie girl can have the surgery and start her healing process so she can enjoy all her outdoor activities again.
