Stephanie's Medical Fund

Donation protected
In an unforseen accident, one of Wheaton Park Stables beloved intructors, Stephanie Bennett, recently suffered a terrible fall off of a horse. After paramedics rushed her to the hospital, doctors discovered multiple fractures in several neck vertebrae that will require surgery in order to heal. Though their prognosis is positive, they do believe recovery will take at least 6 months before she is able to return to work.

Staff memebers at Wheaton Park Stables are banding together to help Stephanie focus on a speedy recovery by alleviating one of her biggest concerns: treatment costs. We are hoping to raise funds that will go to paying medical bills, rehabilitation and living expenses until she is back in the saddle.

One of the best attributes equestrians possess is a tightly knit community, and leaving a fellow equestrian to deal with such an enormous responsibility by herself is a sin. So we are calling on all those who love horses, love riding, or love Stephanie and wish her a speedy recovery to help our fundraising efforts and prove there is nothing more powerful than a community coming together.

Our initial goal of $25k will go toward her surgery and subsequent hospital stay. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and we only ask those unable to donate to please spread the word.
