Ayana’s Volleyball Dream

My name is Ayana Sabbas and I am a sophomore at Marysville Pilchuck high school. I am Native American from the Nuuchahnulth, Gros Ventre and Shoshone Tribes. I love my culture, I dance jingle dress at powwows and help my dad and family sing and dance at powwows and volunteer by sharing my culture at schools and community events. I love school and work hard to maintain straight A’s and to live my life in our traditional way- to be alcohol and drug free. One of the ways that helps me stay grounded is my love for Volleyball. One of my favorite quotes is “Volleyball is life”. I am asking for support to continue my volleyball dream - the good news is I made an amazing club team- the Seattle Jrs 16 Blue team- the not so good news is we can’t afford the club fees and travel expenses. We are fortunate to be surrounded by a “family” of amazing Volleyball families who have generously donated part of my club fees, however, we are still short. I would appreciate any help to minimize my families costs. Anything would be greatly appreciated, whether it be a share or donation!
