Joey lyons

Joseph Lyons was a spirited, energetic, and athletic young man who left us far too soon. Joey graduated from Swansboro High School in Swansboro, NC where he was a star athlete in football, wrestling, basketball, and baseball. Joey's life ended far too soon. He will be remembered by his family and an abundance of friends and other loved ones who feel this deep loss. Due to the event of this unfortunate loss, any help in the cost for his funeral would be greatly appreciated. I am asking on behalf of Joey's family to please help. It does not matter how much...every dollar counts and every single dollar will go to Joey's family to cover all funeral expenses. Will update with memorial/funeral information as it becomes available.

****Unfortunately, we are unable to have the fundraiser in front of Foodlion.  Burger King, the high school, and middle school are not available as well. We are actively looking for other locations in/near Swansboro. If anyone knows of anywhere or would like to volunteer the use of their property, please feel free to contact me. We are still looking to have the fundraiser this weekend.

***Foodlion has denied request***There will be a fundraiser in front of Foodlion in Swansboro (pending approval) on Saturday, March19, 2016, with all proceeds to go to Joey's family for funeral expenses. There will be a car wash and bake sale to raise funds. Please help if you can and keep Joey's family in your prayers.

Memorial for Joey will be held on Wednesday, March 16, at Jones Funeral Home in Swansboro. Services will be between 6:00pm-8:00pm.
