Help for Joanne Doughty

Dear friends and family,

Here is an update from Joanne.

I want to give you an update about my health. And thank you all for your beautiful support. Thank you so much. I am grateful for every day and each one of you.

It's called Metastatic carcinoma. Stemming from the endimetrial cancer in 2021. Got in the lymph nodes and is taking a journey through my body. Two lime size Inoperable tumors on my left side and in my lungs. It is here where I choose to believe the report of The Lord!! Praying insurance will pay for immunotherapy along with chemo which would give me a better quality of life for maybe 2 years. If I don't have it then probably won't live in this world til the end of the year. This is hard to say to all my beautiful friends and family. I love you all.

I know without a doubt where I am going and I know God a little and he is helping me through. My heart is touched by you , my sweet friends , You have made my life so much sweeter.

This is next! Starting March 8:

6 chemo and immunotherapy treatments once every 21 days for 9 weeks. cat Scan and blood work and If its being successful we go another 9 weeks. Stop chemo and continue immunotberapy for up to 2 yrs.

I can’t actually work for this season hence my friend Patti starting this go fund me.

I am writing on behalf of our dear friend Joanne Doughty. Many of you have grown to know and love this amazing woman. She is a mother to her beautiful daughter and son in law, a grandmother to 3 beautiful kids, Judy Doughty’s sister and a long time realtor with Glad Heart Realty. Currently she is battling a very serious diagnosis of cancer. Her plate is full dealing with all the aspects of having cancer.

I’m inviting you to join in this battle by helping her eliminate some of the financial burden that comes with this awful disease. She cannot do this alone.
