<div>With an estimated <strong>2.2 million orphans</strong> in Afghanistan according to a r<a href="https://www.unicef.org/media/137816/file/Afghanistan-Humanitarian-SitRep-February-2023.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">eport by UNICEF</a> , our support is necessary. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and despair faced by many orphans. As such, education is a vital pillar of our organization. In addition to education, we also provide essential supplies, food, and clothing to these children, supporting their overall well-being and helping them build their own sense of identity and self-worth.

<div>Afghanistan has been facing war for over 50 years, and the high number of orphans is one of the devastating consequences of ongoing conflict and poverty. Through our efforts, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of these vulnerable children, empowering them to overcome their circumstances and achieve their full potential.

<div>Our orphanage in Farah is called Mehr Orphanage, which means <strong>love</strong> and <strong>compassion</strong> in Pashto and Farsi. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for orphaned children in Farah, Afghanistan. Established in 2021, our mission is to support the physical and mental development of children without parents, preparing them for a successful and fulfilling future.At Mehr Orphanage, we firmly believe in the power of education. That's why our mission is "<strong><em>4 Education, 4 Empowerment, 4 Orphans, 4 Change".</em></strong>

</li>
<li>Eid gifts for every orphan (sandals + 1 set of clothing)
</li>
<li>Food packages at the end of Ramadan consisting of (Rice, Oil &amp; Flour)
</li>
