Accessible Van for Rasheedah

My family and I, are raising money for my twins sister's surgery. She was born with a disorder called Lesch-Nyhan Disease (LND). This disorder causes cerebral palsy and self-mutilation. My sister has normal cognitive abilities but is unable to control the impulse to hurt herself. Therefore, she has to be restrained 24/7. About 4 years ago we learned there is a surgery called Deep Brain Stimulation being done on people with neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's Disease and Tourette's Syndrome. This surgery has been performed on people with LND for 10 years now. The State of NJ refuses to pay for this surgery, for my sister, because they insist that it is an experimental. The money we're trying to raise will cover the surgery and the rehabilitation that follows.
