HELP A DEVOTED MOTHER

It's never easy to watch someone you care about go through things in life that are out of your control. It's more difficult when that person is your own child. With that being said, I'd like you to meet Carissa, Savannah and Lisa. (In the photo above from left to right) Carissa is 29 and a wonderful mother to beautiful Savannah. Carissa has been fighting the battle against an aggressive form of cancer called mucinous adenocarcinoma. She has put up one heck of a fight and is one very strong woman, which isn't surprising considering her mother Lisa is one of the strongest women I know. Lisa has been by Carissa's side the whole time. She not only cares for Carissa but she also cares for little Savannah and I cannot imagine how overwhelming this can be especially under the circumstances. As if this wasn't difficult enough on November 28th they received the most devastating news imaginable. The cancer has progressed and there isn't anything more the doctors can do for her. My heart hurts for the family and especially for Carissa and Lisa. I am trying to raise money to help with expenses while Lisa takes the time from work to continue to care for and be by her daughters side in this heartbreaking time. At the very least let's help her get through the holidays. Please continue to pray for this family. God Bless! Thank you!
